2015 Condensation in Headlight

If it's stock, should be warranty, no questions.

But for those of us that like the HID kits, that's usually the issue. I've dried mine out, and then added some silicone to the dust cover with great success. And my kit is from Xenon Depot. Going thru the car wash seems to get in there just the right amount.

Yes, its stock. weird he kept telling me to bring the oem bulb but those are the oem bulbs. had me confused the entire time.

Digging up an old post. My truck is 7 months old and I have condensation in both my headlights but the passenger side the most and has since left marks. I tried to bring it in to the dealer for warranty and they are blaming my "aftermarket" bulbs when I have the stock bulbs in there (weird). Anyways, they said they would contact corporate to see of a replacement, waiting to hear back from them.

Anyone else having issues?

I recently had this issue on my driver side headlight. I ordered a couple of replacement dust covers and will be drilling the hole for the HID a little smaller than I did and sealing the grommet better (found that its a little loose on my current dust cover). For the time being, I have just been leaving the dust cover off while im at work and when I get back to the truck, putting it back on before driving home. Dried the condensation right up while it was parked.

IMHO, the problem is the O ring is not sealing in the fixture. It has nothing to do with the dust cover grommet !

I ran into the same issue with my DDM Tuning 50W Sabres in the high beam location.
The O rings supplied were undersized and whenever the headlights were on the moisture disappeared.
When they were turned off, in a matter of hours, the condensation was back.
The temperature variation when cooling sucked moisture from the air into the housing.

Fixed the issue by putting oversized O rings on the bulbs, backing off of the 3 screws on the high bean socket, inserting bulbs and re-tightening the 3 screws.
ISSUE SOLVED!
