2016 4Runner poor quality, early wear

2014, 75k on the clocks...stock up and down, front to back. Only Mod are some Cooper AT3s and some plasti-dip'd TRD-Pro style frontage...

my ONLY problem to date is a drivers-side lock actuator that has stopped working when pressing the key buttons to lock/unlock...or when you put the car out of P-Park.

Very sorry for your experience to date. I know many of us bought this vehicle, at least in part, because of its bullet proof nature. Hopefully you can get those things rectified.

FWIW, I have a 15 Limited and did have actual steering wheel flaking - not what you posted. That appears to be the result of a direct abrasion.

I reported it to my dealer when the car had less than 20k miles on it, their regional refused to service it, I called corporate and they green lit it.

I use a damp cloth monthly to wipe the wheel down, protect it with a sunscreen, etc... didn't have issues w/ my previous Toyota vehicles.

2016 here...19000 miles....not one single problem that I didn't cause and the tightest vehicle I have ever owned. Not one squeak, noise, or problem to speak of. Hopefully I haven't just jinxed myself. I clean the interior with a damp microfiber cloth. Love this thing.

Mine is 3 1/2 years old, 32k miles, none of those issues listed. I have no issues at all, not even a squeak nor a scratch inside/outside.

I live in Miami, it parks in a parking garage, just FYI.
