Are you by chance a mechanic or now anything about wiring?

Shot in the dark here… but considering your statement that 4Runner runs fine, I would say it is purely electrical issue… more likely wiring from that sensor is damaged and signal is not reaching the ECU… Culprits could be damaged wires\connectors caused by rodents, previous vehicle’s repairs (especially after collision), corrosion damaged connectors, and alike…

Definitely not a mechanic... all my experience on cars comes from “DIY cars maintenance and repairs” which I have being doing for 35+ years… however, since in the last 20+ years I have only driven 4Runner and most of my family vehicles are Toyotas (including couple Lexus models) my “repair” skills are certainly “out of date”… LOL...

I woke up to this this morning, CEL, TRAC OFF & and the green multi terrain light is flashing. Sure enough my gas cap was loose. I tightened it but I still have all the lights
