Not a fan. Fine photoshop job. It just makes the nose too blunt.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm on the edge with the current front fascia but your PS would put me in a driver's seat. If you tried enlarging the black strip connecting the fog lights I think it would look even better. Btw add the Tacoma side mirrors too.

While the underpinnings between the 4Runner and Prado may be somewhat common, the sheetmetal isn't really much of an indicator and hasn't been for a while.

That blunt nose reminds me of a panda bear in black and white. Great photoshop job though, I agree.
It looks amazing on the Tacoma, but I think I'd prefer the 4runner to have its own personality and look.

Thanks for the choppin' compliments, everyone!
Had some more time with a beer and my thoughts last night—created this Frankenstein of parts from the new Tacoma and 5th Gen. fascia I'd put together if I was a Toyota designer... :artist2:
(Tacoma face w/ 4R 5th Gen. headlights, Tacoma mirrors and a little larger lower “mouth”.)
I'll leave it at this and keep dreaming. In the meantime, I'm counting down the days until I get to turn this Jeep GC lease in for my 4runner. :heh:

My hat is off to any designers for making something as badass as the 4runner come to fruition in all areas of its production.

Absolutely my favorite Toyota of all time.
I like what you've done. For some reason I think the Tacoma headlights looks more fitting. I chopped this up in MS Paint with the progressive changes side-by-side. Your two plus my #3.
Now we just need one in Inferno, Grey and Black.

I like this. I think it looks better than the fascia on my 2015 4runner.
I like the ps design but I think I still like the current front end. I hate the square limited version and the older model (sorry for those that have one haha). Ever since I saw the more aggressive front end on the te and pros I loved it. I don't get some of the hating on the front end, some say it looks like it ran into a deer or sad clown face. I seriously don't see any of that but hey just me. However don't get me wrong the photoshops look good and honestly wouldn't be bad, I think it would be a logical step for Toyota to do something like that. I could see it doing well and I wouldn't be opposed to it but I still like the front end how it is now. I think the only thing I would change would take out the bar running across the middle of the grille with the Toyota on it and just put Toyota directly on the grille and make the letters bigger like on the new 17 tacos. Just my personal taste I guess and again just my opinions.
