This information came from a press release through my Toyota dealer. I assume it is accurate based on its origin, but who knows. Thought it might peak some interest from some who have chosen to wait out the 2017 model year.
The 2017 Toyota 4Runner has been redesigned with a sharp, sleek exterior that can’t go by unnoticed. It’s still as practical and comfortable as ever on the inside. With a 4.0-liter V6 engine that is operated by a 6-speed automatic transmission, the 2017 4Runner produces a hefty 270 horsepower and 278lb-ft of torque. It gets *17 mpg in the city and 22 on the highway. The 4Runner comes standard with FWD or AWD.
Some of the most major changes to the 4Runner have taken place on the inside. A 6.1-inch infotainment system has been installed and made standard on the LE, SE, and XLE trims, but limited models receive a 7.0-inch unit. The Entune system, which enables your smartphone to connect to the head unit, has been integrated along with Bluetooth connectivity, eight-way power driver’s seat, Siri Eyes Free, which enables voice control of an iOS mobile device that is linked to a car’s in-dash audio system, and a rearview camera, just to name a few.
The interior cabin design is consistent with the 4Runner‘s reputation of being stylish and spacious. User-friendly knobs and buttons are draped throughout, and the front seats are power adjustable and provide comfortable support.
