I'm registered...anyoone else going?

I've got a 15 TRD Pro...looking to add a decent set of skids, install my cb, hook up my frig and some other small things...

I have an ARB awning from my FJ days...i might wanna mount that but will need a roof rack...

I'm really tryin hard not to have any trail rash...not on this baby.....
so i wanna do some easy blues....basically just wanna get outdoors with it..

my fj was white....2 weeks after I bought her, I got my first pinstriping...so, after that, i didnt mind...

I hope to meet some of you guys on Labor Day weekend

Never been, Josh @apexoverland highly recommend it so it's definitely good. My only concern is my kids are already in school by then. I might be able to make a solo trip out of it.

Ah. School... hadn't thought about that. I'm going to keep an eye on this one.

Does anyone know if it sells out or if it's a problem to register later in the summer? For example, do you get the campsite next to the porta-potty if you register late?

I just did a scan of the registration page and didn't see a "registration ends on xyz date," but I did see that you can't cancel a registration after 30JUN17.

I'm committed. I like that it's hundreds less than OEX east and the concept of classes vendors and Trail rides is still there. Plus it's only 3 hours away versus 8 to Asheville. I am likely bringing a guy I work with. He's looking to get into the overland arena with his Jeep JK.

there is a deadline for registration...I think its late in July sometime...if you have any questions, they have a fb page.... you can message them and they will get right back to you

I had the same question too. I messaged them on Facebook and the deadline is 7/23. The only advantage to registering early is you will be entered into a couple of raffles. Apparently they will be giving out pretty big prizes but the first raffle ends with in the first 40 days of registration and then the next raffle I believe is the next 40 days after that. Hopes this helps! If you have any more questions refer to their Facebook page, they are really helpful.

Ive been both years and will likely go again. Its a decent time, kind of pricey for what you get but it what it is. Camping can be loud at night since Windrock allows night wheeling and the V8 buggies rolling in at 1am can be obnoxious. Dont forget about SETO which is held the same weekend (usually the same place) and is free, but no group dinners or anything, just camping and wheeling.

What are the dates and where is the rally point for this round-up? I'm in Northern Virginia. We don't have labor day plans yet.
