Hopefully the Golden Knights have another great season as I never expected the season they had last year! I figured they would be dead last. [MENTION=266232]R3dR0cket[/MENTION] , nice off season pick up with Erik Karrlson. I was hoping we’d be able to pick him up as long as the price wasn’t too high.

Back in grade school I befriended this crazy kid from Calgary who was a diehard Flames fan. He got me into hockey and at the time Mario Lemieux was my favorite player. So, it was only natural to like the Pens as well. They've stuck ever since. Same with the friend. One my closest friends to this day.

That's what they get paid hundreds of $K or millions/year to take, talk to all the elder statesmen of the sport who got paid 3 day old oatmeal to take the punishment they did. Cheevers' mask? Anyway, even semi-pro probably beats selling used cars or flipping burgers which is all most "players" are "qualified" for.

Tell that to all the Bean Pot kids getting a free Ivy League education for playing hockey and there are some darn good players that come out of those schools.
