It should come over the air automatically. What new version are you finding and where?
I read that the latest was Audio:1047 but can not locate the thread.
Someone updated to the latest using USB

Does the 2020 Off Road Premium come with navigation or not?
The download gives you two options: with navigation and without navigation download.

That's been the current firmware for months. Early January if I'm not mistaken. Bought mine in January and it came with that firmware.
On a '20 you just go into settings and ask it to check for an update. If there is one, it downloads it over the air. No need for a USB stick.

That is not true.
I have pre 1047 and tried the OTA update and said I am up to date.
Do you use Android Auto, any noticeable bug fixes, improvements?

Don't know what to tell you man. You sure you're set up for the uplink service correctly?
Not gonna worry about it, since I dont use carplay
found the regular bluetooth for phone and music much better than Android Auto.

Sorry you're having trouble with it. It's a real POS to be honest. I can't wait for a Maestro unit to come out for it. I check their website weekly hoping it'll be ready.
What is that unit?

Well no, the Maestro stuff is used to remove the OEM headunit and integrate a new, aftermarket unit into the vehicle while keeping all the functions. It's expected to be out this year for our 2020's.

Wow, surprised to hear the POS opinion. I thought it was nice but then again I don't own one, just saw at dealership. I was hoping it would fit my 2010 LOL!
Did some digging and the current TSB for Audio head unit update is TSB-0161-19.
This was revised in March 2020 to include software 1060
This states that the newest version is 1060, however, the Toyota media site does not have it available for download yet. Therefore, the only way, at this time to get 1060 is to have the dealer do it via USB.
It is noted in the TSB that some model 2020 year vehicles with Audio Plus or Premium Audio version 1047 or later may exhibit the following:
USB audio does not resume after ignition cycle
Intermittent rebooting
Bluetooth disconnecting during a phone call when using Car Play
Intermittent screen freezing
Navigation intermittently will not boot up
Home screen Audio widget is blank after a destination assist call
Song, artist, or album data missing
Abnormal clock operation
Apple Car Play intermittently inoperative
Radio takes a long time to boot up.
So, looks like 1060 was released to help with these issues.
