2020 Toyota 4Runner Air Cleaner Thickness

Why is it I purchased OEM GENUINE TOYOTA AIR CLEANER, THE NEW IN BOX SAME PART# .
ONE IS THICKER THAN THE OTHER????

The new filters do not have the small sheet that traps sand.
just byt the filter from tge delaer and you will be all set

The yzz parts are a budget line for toyota, the thicker one with the pre filter is:

1780138051

Basically they just sold you the cheap filter. Anything with yzz is a cheap oem item. Whether they changed the budget filter, I have no idea. I've always stuck with the standard one.
