2022 TRD Pro color — electric yellow?

Citrus green? I was surprised to see no discussion here yet of this 2022 Tacoma teaser photo Toyota tweeted out the other day. Looks like we now know what is replacing Lunar Rock.

I like it. And it looks like it available outside of the TRD Pro trim too. If you care to be "exclusive", Toyota is making a little harder for you TRD Pro owners haha.
 
Im willing to bet that leaked build page was for tacoma or tundra which do offer exclusive colors for the following years on non pro models. We’ll see soon enough.

If you look at the reactions to the new color above, you'll see what I learned about yellow a long time ago - on a boat. People either love it or hate it. There is no middle ground. That said, it's the kiss of death on resale value for just that reason.
 
Only slightly less repulsive than Lunar Rock. Toyota just doesn’t have any interest in 4X4 anymore, sad? Who the hell is telling them to do what they are doing with their 4X4 vehicles??? They obviously have no enthusiasts that are giving them guidance as to what the off road crowd wants. Or they just don’t give a $&it! Sad because Jeep and Ford listen to what their customers want and that will spell big profits for them while 4Runner sales will slip. Pretty sad because I am quite sure a bone stock Bronco will easily outperform my ‘19 Pro off-road and come away with less damage.
 
I don't know that I could drive a yellow car. Occasionally I like an orange. Now if they made a paint scheme that had like the ironman yellow/ orange/ tan/ white Toyota color scheme graphics on it, I could get into that.

Right. Have you seen Lunar Rock in person? It’s indistinguishable from Cement in 95 percent of light conditions, and every truck manufacturer has a virtually identical color, including Jeep and the new Bronco (see Cactus Gray, featured prominently in Ford’s marketing campaign for the Bronco).

Toyota didn’t make a “Pro off-road” in 2019, or in any other year, so I’m not sure what you’re driving that won’t measure up to completely untested Bronco, but thanks for sharing.

I’m reserving judgment on Lime Rush until I can see it in person, but I will say it’s an awful name. Sounds like a drink they should sell at Sonic.

Few weeks ago we pulled up alongside a green pro. My 10year old daughter liked it and I explained about the "special" colors. Knowing how much I hate it, and being the little smart ass she is, she predicted the next pro color would be yellow.
 
This worse than girls who buy lululemon.. oh a new color! i have to have it because its a new color of the same 10 tops/leggings i own.

same shit different color.. sure enough it'll sell out

Not a fan of the new color , but I’m a fan of lulu lemon in any color on the right girl.

This is your daughter’s fault.

I can live with almost any color but yellow. It just slaps me in the face like a nyc cab.
