Yeah I looked too, I don’t get why Canada gets that and in the US we don’t. Makes zero sense to me!

It looks like the heated steering wheel is standard on all trim levels now in Canada. I would have waited 6 months if I knew this. Never saw them adding a heated steering wheel in perhaps the last model year.

I hear ya. I stopped at the dealer this afternoon to see what a 23 steering wheel would cost. $1900 without the airbag!
I think I could sell/convenience trade my 22 for a 23 and break even or better.

$1,900 for the heated steering wheel hmmm I’d need to drive to Canada and buy the wheel. That might be an option. Or if I can get a Canada dealership to mail me one. It’s insane that’s Canada only and not US. More of a reason to move to Canada haha

Just watched a video. The button is in the little indent a few inches below the push button start.
In SF Bay Area.
I just scored a 2023 4runner TRD Pro two days ago and was surprised to find it has a button for heated steering wheel.
For the price of a TRD PRO, you better hope to god the heated steering wheel is included lol

I just watched a video from a dealership in Washington state. They have a solar octane PRO and it has heated steering wheel. Late edition? Does that show as an option on the Toyota website?

Could just be a sales figure game. They probably figure they can be more competitive on pricing without it, and that most people in the USA don't need it. I live about 30 minutes outside of Montreal and it gets chilly here in the winter. I think that can be said for the majority of Canadian cities, so they just figure it will be needed or wanted on most trim levels in Canada.

No retrofit needed. This is a screenshot from a video posted from a dealership in Washington state. Apparently, they sneaked in a heated steering wheel for US models as well. See attached photo. This is NOT a Canadian dealership.
