2023 4Runners CA vs US models - heated steering wheel

Apparently we’re not getting it here.

As far as I know, we will not be getting the heated steering wheel in the US version! I just checked with my dealership.

Apparently your dealership has no idea what it's talking about. I just sat in a 2023 TRD PRO tonight and it had a heated steering wheel.

Wonder if the limited model has it for US? My 2023 4Runner Limited hasn’t arrived to dealership yet :-( but should be soon!!

Great option........nice for the norther states.
BTW I had a demo / loaner RAV4 that had a heated steering wheel a week ago. I hope they don't follow that model. It was only heated at "9 o'clock and 3 o'clock" --- the rest of the steering wheel was NOT heated.
 
Just went on Autotrader for US and saw numerous 2023 Limited’s with the heated steering wheel button!!

Heck yeah!!!!! [emoji3590][emoji3590][emoji3590]

I meant to buy the parts and install it on my 4R. Not necessarily interested trading in my 22 for a 23 just for that.

The steering wheel is $1900 alone. Then you have to buy the wires and switch, have it cut out etc. Remove the airbag from your old wheel and put it on the new one. I can't see this being less than $3000.

That's only a problem if you plan to turn. :D
 
I swear Toyota is treating the 4R like an iPhone. Just slowly add in more features over the years.

Maybe for '24 we'll get blind spot indicators again
 
Figured I would bump this thread for visibility.
I would love to find a retrofit solution to add a heated wheel to my 2015 Limited.
 
Our '23 has a heated steering wheel and the BSM. And love that it does. Oh yeah, I'm not in Canada

I am in Colorado, 23’ TRD Pro, came with a heated steering wheel. Only heats at the 9 and 3 o’clock as mentioned above. Works well, if not entirely unneeded, nice to have I suppose.
