Just put 3" front strut spacers on my 99 Limited (millenium silver) and FJ80 rear coil springs along with Nitto Terra Grapplers 285 75 16 and with a bit of a rub I'm adding some 1" wheel spacers later this week. This is my 4th 3rd G Runner, but 1st I've added anything too. It looks sweet. Still debating removing the running boards. they provide some much protection in our harsh salty winters. Not considering any body lift though. Seems like too much and I've never been much for those lifts showing all the body frame. Tried to load a pic but I can't figure this mess out.

i already have the same setup as you do...i am trying to see pics of trucks with 255 85 16s and a body lift or even some without

1bad4r I don't think there are any 4runners with those tires. I have searched and only sikhiluxsurf had them or still has them in his truck, not to sure. My main concern is longevity and also road manners. I have talked to pikeman about this and for my driving maybe at best 20% off-road and 80% pave road this tire might not be the right one for me. But who knows it is to soon and I am still shopping around for tires 255/85/16 might still be a possibility?

No problem will let you know if I get them. I drive about 12k a year and will hate to replace them if I only get 30k or less of of them.

you might try checking out some of the yota's on http://www.expeditionportal.com/, it's seems to be a pretty popular tire size for an expo rigs.

today was a big day for me...
i already had the lift, toytec 3inch spacers with landcruiser fj80 coils in the rear...
but i got the km2 255's!!
so far im in love. they are freaking sick, fit my runner perfect SR5 with the flares taken off, no rubbing up front but i do in the rear, i rub on the mud flaps so im going to trim the bumper to fix this, but this was at full flex, not your flex that someone with 35's stuffed would even attempt. In a huge ditch with the locker on, and also on a flex ramp at a local 4x4 shop. i still dont belive those guys claiming they dont rub with those 35's i could see myself rubbing like crazy with the 285's! these tires fit perfectly in the wheel wells at full flex, i extended my bump stops with 2.5in square tube with holes drilled in it. worked beautifully.
im going wheeling tomorrow morning and will get some better pictures.
