Where is the best place to buy this size?? My old reliable spot only has a few makes....... or is this size on the way out??

I have a set myself... love the size, but there really doesn't seem to be many contenders. I actually was looking on google the other day, and the "Google Shopping" tab seemed to have the best list of makes. (I searched for "255/85R16")

Post up what you get if you pull the trigger... not too many people on here with this size tire, would be interesting to hear about other's experiences.

I have Coop S/T Maxx's. They have a nice tread, deep enough, but not spaced so widely that I don't wanna drive on the road on them all the time. They do well offroad in everything I've thrown at them. I haven't had the chance to air them down for offroading yet, but I bet they would perform noticeably better. Also very quiet on the road. I've put about 12,000 miles on them, and they seem to be holding up well. Haven't tested in the snow (on road), but very excited to. They are skinnier than stock tires I was used to, and have a decent bit of siping. I'd recommend to a friend.

The maxxis seem to be the most wallet friendly that I can find.....
