So I recently scratched up one of my original 4th gen wheels hitting a drain cover, and was looking at inexpensive new wheels. I keep finding 5th gen take-offs for sale at pretty good prices. I know the 5th gen uses 26570r17, but is there any issue installing my recently purchased Kumho Road Venture 265/65R17? Its all on stock suspension.

no, if your tires are new and you just want to swap rims, its good to go.
most of us like the use of 265/70 since its more tire, also did you know its cheaper too.
since you are swapping out to another different rim that is 17 its good to go.

Super sweet, I didn't know 265 70 17 could be cheaper. I'll have to check that out next time.
Thank you, I knew the wheels would fit (and look good). My question was more about the tire itself fitting on the rim. This might seem like common knowledge to most car guys as far as what the tire sizes mean, but I wanted to make sure first. I will continue to look at the pics from these threads for some motivation to find some rims.

Most of the questions we see are about using these rims with bigger tires, not smaller.
