This is an embarrassing question, but... what kind of tire shine/cleaner do you use? I like the clean, but not "shiny" look. Especially when it's offset with the white letters (which I also chose to show off).

They're great. If I remember correctly I have the pressure at 48psi and it's a little more firm than stock but definitely not harsh.

Awesome! They're a solid tire for sure. Trying to work a set into my purchase deal here in a few weeks!

question (for anyone to answer):
i know the f(x) wheels are 1" wider (17"x8") than the TRD wheels (17"x7") what are the differences in the offset/backspace specs? do they poke out 1" further than the TRD wheels?

i'm adding 1.75" bilsteins and 1" cornfed spacer in the back. debating on installing spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers. i'm thinking (hoping) the stance will look similar to yours with the f(x) wheels.

I took this picture maybe an hour or two after having installed new. However I did clean them with what we use at work for motorcycle white walls. Its basically a white wall/tire cleaner and I use a small brass brush to scrub. Even just spraying them and letting sit before hosing off takes just about it all off looking new. I despise tire shine!

As per my conversation with Dustin at FN Wheels. He told me this:

FN Wheels ƒ(x) Pro
Diameter: 17"
Width: 8"
Offset: 0mm
Backspacing: 4.5"

The stock Trail Edition wheel is:

Diameter: 17"
Width: 7.5"
Offset: +15mm
Backspacing: 4.84"

Stock TRD Pro wheel is:

Diameter: 17"
Width: 7"
Offset: +4mm
Backspacing: 4.16"

Our FN Wheels ƒ(x) Pro wheel will "stick out" approximately .84" more than your factory Trail Edition wheel, and our wheel will "stick out" approximately .66" more than the factory TRD Pro wheel.

Highly recommend this. It is water based rather than synthetic based so it will not dry out your tires. The really shiny stuff car washes put on is garbage. It get slung off the tire easily and leaves splatter marks all over the car, not to mention leaving behind cracks and dry rubber.

AMMO's mud product is very thick and will not sling. It sticks very well and even repels dirt and debris. I've washed my car 2-3 times and the product looks as good as day one. You don't have to apply it every wash.

Finally got new shoes on the goat. 275/70/17 BFG KO2's and TRD wheels on stock suspension. Minimal rub at full lock. Bilsteins are next. (2015 TED with KDSS).
