275/70/17 Picture request!

275/70/17 on stock SR5 rims

This is all helpful, thank you!

I have a 2016 SR5 4runner
i plan to run Fox 2.5 in the front with 3" lift and Fox 2.0 with a 2" lift in the back.
I have been looking at tire options using my stock 17"x7" rim but am having a hard time.
I don't want to have to run a wheel spacer, thinking with 275/70/17 i won't have to.

Any input?

Obviously your truck is going to sit much higher then mine as I only have the stock TRD Suspension on mine.

Here is what the 275's look like on my truck with 7" wide rims. If you went to an 8" wide rim they would look a little wider.

I really like the look with the 275/70/17 i just wish there was a Toyo or Nitto option in that size.

I've been running Nitto's my last few set of tires and don't really want to change. My only option with those manufacturers looks like a Toyo ATII 255/80/17 which i think will look and feel too narrow of a tire or 285/70/17 which i would have to use a wheel spacer and i don't want to push the tires out.

A couple questions for you if you don't mind.

1. How do you like your BFG's?

2. Would you do a 255 or 285 with spacer if those were the only options?

Your welcome and thank you for the compliment on the truck.

I love the 275 BFG's and I am so upset that I didn't buy them earlier. There is almost zero road noise and the truck feels way more planted and stable compared to the 265 BFG Rugged Terrain's. Which were loud as hell and sucked in the snow.

Would I go 285's if I had to do it over again. Yes only if I had 8" wide rims but I really like a factory rim as they are held to a higher standard compared to most aftermarket rims.

However, on that note here is my buddy's truck with stock 7" rims with a set of Nitto 285's and he has plenty of miles on them. He told me the only thing he notices is wheel spin in the rain.

What I do know is that he has the Bilsten 6120? on the highest lift settings and a 1" lift rear spring.

I looked all through this thread and only saw one photo of the Firestone Destination A/T's n 270/75R17. anyone else running them? C rated, 47lbs a tire. they arnt quite as good looking as the KO2, but seems like it would be a good option. Anything I might be missing?

Had these on my F150, in a different size.. but same tire.

They were sweet! Nice ride, quiet, and easy on the pockets! They look good on small wheels like 17/18s too.

Hello, This is my first post. I just purchased a 2019 Offroad Premium. This forum was amazing in helping me make certain decisions so I figured I would try to post as I hadn't seen any clear pictures of these wheels on a stock runner.

I love the way these wheels and tires look unfortunately there is way to much rub on the front fender and on the body mount so I am going to downsize to 265/70/17. I was thinking about going up to 0.85 with the bilsteins 5100 but didn't want to mess with the KDSS right as the car is brand new.

Looking good! I have the same color. Still running 265's At2's after my 2.75 lift but been looking at those new ATx in 275's. What's your thoughts on those ATx's? I wish they had options for C rated.

Love them and don't mind the LRE at all to be honest these trucks are not speed demons anyway.

Has anybody put on the Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT in the 275/70R17? I’ve seen some posts about the AT3 4S but I’m thinking about the 275/70 which is only offered in the LT load range E now. Would love to see pics and hear opinions on this option.

Truck looks great! I regret not going with 275's. I have the same lift you do with stock trail wheels and while it looks great at most angles, sometimes it looks like it skipped leg day. I have never needed the wider tread off road so it's all cosmetic for me. When I get a few more thousand miles on my 265 KO2's I think I'll go with the FN FX Pro wheels with 275's. Do you know the offset of your wheels?
