Falken 275's on my rig. 6112's are set to 1.6" up front, 1.5" Dobinson coil in the rear with the 5160's

50 miles no rubbing to my knowledge so far

EDIT * rubbing at full lock in reverse gonna check out the fender liner as i think thats the culprit

So I'm getting mixed messages on here regarding putting 275/70/17 tires on with my stock TRD suspension. I have seen the tire size chart posted by 1engineer and the 275/70/17 are in the green, but some people say they rub. If there are any Pro owners that are running these I would love to get some feedback and pics?

feedback on this? i have a 17 SR5 with the trd pro bilstein suspension install from the clearance sale. Currently at 40k miles on stock tires installed on the trd pro wheels.

the technical color would be Rustoleum Antique Brass lol

I spray painted them myself.

about 5 coats of paint and 6 coats of clear.

275 Falken Wildpeaks, 2.5/1.5" Bilstein 6112/5160, Spidertrax spacers. Will be going to 285s eventually but love these for now. I had these tires before the lift and spacers and had minimal rubbing, with the spacers and lift I rubbed the body mounts. Did the chop a few weeks ago.

275 Falken Wildpeaks, 2.5/1.5" Bilstein 6112/5160, Spidertrax spacers. Will be going to 285s eventually but love these for now. I had these tires before the lift and spacers and had minimal rubbing, with the spacers and lift I rubbed the body mounts. Did the chop a few weeks ago.

I have essentially the same set up, sans spacers. I have no rubbing at all, but the look with the spacers looks dope! Do you have UCAs?

I do, JBA high caster, which is why I got the spacers, my wheels would've rubbed them otherwise. I'm loving the look too, not sure how people can afford to go all-out on their rigs right away, but it's a slow process for me haha.

nope stock TRD offroad Suspension

i have a SR5 with the trd pro suspension from the clearance sale last year. It'll be hit miss on rubbing with the 275/70/17 tires. If there is itll be minimal probably full lock in reverse. Currently at 41k miles on stock tires and will go this route

Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been on here in a while. I can tell you I got the Toytec 2' kit for the pro and run Nitto RG's in 285. Without the Toytec kit there is no way I could have gotten away with it. I had to trim the front flaps or it would rub ever so slightly on the bubble. I cut them in half vertically to retain some protection for the side of the truck and all has been good.

Picked up General Grabber ATX in 275/70/17 for TRD Pro wheels on my SR5.

Also getting Bilstein 5100s all around installed next week. I’m thinking about putting 2” springs front and 1.5” in the rear. Anyone have a side view of similar setup? I want the look of a slight lift, but I don’t want tires looking small.
