285/75/16 goodyears mounted on trd ivan S wheels. pics inside and some questions

hey everybody just got my new tires mounted. I almost destroyed myself since my jack wasnt tall enougn and I used bricks stacked up (biiiig ass mistake) do not attempt that. bricks are no longer in one piece

anyways. I do have rubbing issues with only 2.5 inch spacers up front but it only rubs in the back end of the fender well in the front but in the front part it doesnt due to my tjm elimnating some rubbing.. these wheels have hardly any backspacing it seems. my old tires were pushed into the fender wells.. these are kicked out an extra inch past flares almost.

should I trim part of my front flares in the backside or just trim the inner well? And can I top out space spacers? Id rather get coilovers but I cant afford any right now.

might have to get bodylift but I was hoping I wouldnt have too.

I might also be selling my old wheels and tires as combo but I really do like my old wheels a lot.. very big feeler for now

get the BL. 1"

then cut the back fender trim and cut and grind the pinch weld.. if neccessary, pound it back.

besides that you should be good to go.

keep an eye (esp if you remove the swaybars) on rubbing with the tjm.

i still cant figure out where the pinch weld is.. I guess I didnt take a good enough look when I had the tires off..

yeah I guess BL is in order. I really dont want to have to send my bumper mounts to Steve to have fixed for BL

its at the bottom of the rear partof the fender.. its where 3 pieces come together, youll see it behind the trim if its not immediately visible.

oh gotcha.. going to drive it today but I will trim possibly tomorrow or friday.

I wish I could order some tjm fixed bl mounts.

then id go for 2 inch BL

cut the plastic shrouding back to see what im going to have to grind.. Im assuming the pinch weld is part of the metal bar beside the rocker panel. not worried about that.. its the end of the rocker panel im worried about.. gonna grind the living ### out of it.

then im gonna lift front end even more.. prob end up going with some tokico shocks and tundra coils. then 2 inch BL if I can find some tjm brackets for it or a 1 inch at least
