285 Firestone Dest A/T, Countersteer x, Gen 5 TE?

I have a stock 2013 TE and just ordered Countersteer X wheels.
I'm now looking into tires. I talked to several guys here in upstate NY and considering that this is my daily driver, we get lots of snow (almost wrecked with the stock Dunlop AT20's last night), I hate road humm, and I want to get good gas mileage/tire wear...I have come to the conclusion that 285/70/17 Firestone Destination A/T's are the way to go. They only weigh 44 lbs.
Does anyone have any experience with this combination (rubbing, snow traction, tread wear, wet pavement, etc) ?
How about any photos?
Any advice will help. Thanks!

Heres the only pic I have from way back in the day.

They are great in snow and wet pavement. They don't have an aggressive tread so they actually channel water pretty well. You'll rub without a lift.

Its a toytec ultimate lift, 3in front 2in rear. From what I remember is that the SR5 liner is different then the TE's, so the rubbing can't simply be fixed by moving the liner forward. I just hacked it off, and it started rubbing on the bumper, so I took a dremel to it. This was also do to the fact I was running spacers all around.

I had Destinations before my Toyos. They're great tires, great on road performance and really quiet for an AT. Plenty of grip off-road in dry conditions,.mever tried any mud. They also wore really well

I have Destinations on my truck (275-70-17) and they have 50,000 miles on them, with decent tread left. They are quiet and stay that way even when they wear down.
- They do good in the snow.
- They are average in the rain.
- Great on-road manners

I think the Destinations would be a good choice.The Toyo AT II gets great reviews to, but I have never owned a set.

I am going to try a set of 275-70-17 Mastercraft Courser C/T`s for my next set of tires, they are priced right and they are made by Cooper Tires.

I have had a few sets over the years. They:
Got about 55K miles before needing replaced
Good in dry
Good in Snow
OK in Rain
Not so good in mud
Not much noise

I replaced them with Michelin MS and the Michelins were much better, about as good as you get for an all conditions road tire. They were not so good off road though which is now why I like the Cooper AT3's. I guess I am still in search of the ultimate all condition all terrain tire lol.

I have load c 275's, no rubbing, great tires, load c helped due to thicker sidewalls on the ride and gained more tread depth.

So the Firestone Destinations 275's don't rub on a stock ride height with the 1" spacers?
I just got my Countersteer X wheels and they have an offset which basically replicates a .90" spacer. That's where I'm most concerned.
