Guys I've been out of the loop a little bit on 4th Gen mods. So I feel like a newbie again. I did some searching the past few days. But maybe the present thoughts, methods and ideas are different than they were a couple of years ago.
I'd like to now fit a 285/70/17 AT, probably the GY Duratrac, on a 4th gen instead of the 33/12.5/17 MTZ I had, that we're passed on to my newly frankenstiened 1st Gen.
For this fittment I seem to recall that it was possible with an OME lift, and stock wheels provided aftermarket UCA's are installed. Does my memory serve me correct here? Almost all the posts that have come up in my searches indicate 3" lift + 285/70/17 + stock wheels + wheel spacers.
I seen one post that lists the options as wheel spacers OR UCA OR after market wheels.
Can a couple of you guys chime in here. I've been running 33/12.5/17's so i'm already all trimed up and I have LR UCA's. But ran them on a wheel with a little more backspacing. So it is hard to properly guage.
Thanks.
