285's and rubbing on frame

So I installed a 3" Toytec spacer lift over the weekend to accommodate the 285/70/17 Duratracs and TRD wheels I purchased. I also added 1.25" spidertrax wheel spacers. After installing lift, wheels/tires, and wheel spacers, I noticed a lot of rubbing in the front, so I performed the front fender mod and did some trimming of the front bumper. That helped the clearance in the front of the tires, but I noticed I am still rubbing on the back of the front tire, so I removed the front mudflaps, however I am not rubbing on the metal frame where the mudflaps would be protecting. Has anyone continued to experience rubbing here? Any suggestions?

Should I remove the front wheel spacers?

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Remove the spacers and you should be good. If not you may need to find an aftermarket UCA to allow for more caster.

Google Tacoma, FJ Cruiser, or 4Runner body mount chop/bmc or cab mount chop/CMC.

Edit: re-read your post and I’m not clear what you’re rubbing on, but in case you haven’t heard of the BMC give it a look.

Thanks, I will try removing spacers first to see how if that fixes the issue.

I think what you have provided makes sense and would help fix the rubbing issue I have. I am going to remove the spacers first to see if that can resolve the rubbing, but if not, may need to venture into the BMC option. Appreciate the feedback.

perform a bmc or take off the spacers

Spacers will come off first, thanks!

did you get an alignment yet?

Yes, alignment was done when tires/wheels went on after lift.

probably the spacers if it is rubbing on the body mount. no rubbing on a similar setup here without spacers but rub the BM with them on. getting the BMC done next month.
