285s rubbing on front bumper. How's my alignment?

I have a 2016 TEP with TRD Pro wheels on 285/70/17 ko2. Lifted with OME shocks/884 springs.

My tires are rubbing on the back of the front bumper. I can see it rubbing the paint off.

it's not rubbing on the fender liner.

How does my alignment look? any suggestions?

from what i see it looks pretty good, with no lift (I'm guessing based on your comments) rubbing should be expected with that tire size.

take a dremel out and chop that under side of the bumper cover off, it really isn't a big deal, although i admit i was a lil scurred going into it. below is a pic of my rough cut before smoothing things out.

opps, forgot to say i'm lifted on OME & 884 springs on the front.

Trimmed my bumper with tin snips and shaped it smooth with a drywall grater. Can't even tell I touched it.

Not really.. May help a little hard to say for sure. Would most likely allow the wheels to be pushed back a tad and still have decent caster.


It's not big deal at all... Sometimes it is just pushing the fender liner forward.... You can usually trim so it looks 100% factory.

i was hoping it was just the fender liner so I can move that forward. But it's hitting the bumper and i can see it rubbing the paint.

Unscrew the liner, push it forward, rescrew the liner, trim the fender to match or as much as necessary. I used a utility knife, trimmed a small bit at a time and it was nearly perfectly smooth, sanded a couple of small areas. Took just a few minutes, works great. UCAs will allow for more wheel caster adjustment, basically forward, which still results in needing to trim the fender. There are links on this Forum if you care to find them.

Just got mine and they do the same when I turn into a driveway with an incline. They don't rub at all when not compressed. I'm lifted on Icon Stage 2. I'm gonna have to try trimming my bumper.

Bumper trim wasn't as bad as I was thinking. Cool part was the plastic took very well to sanding. My finish is very smooth - super happy with it!

I also have the OME with TRD Pro wheels and spidertrax on mine and had to cut the front bumper as well. There is actually a TSB from Toyota that all TRD Pros have the bumper modified at port. I have a great relationship with my service writer at the Toyota Dealership and they actually did it for me. Cured all rubbing in the front but mine still rubs the body mount due to the spacers. Having the BMC done tomorrow.
