295/70/17 pics for those wondering...

Happy New Year, folks! Been a little while since I have posted...haven't done much to the rig. I am still planning on a tougher lift this year, but the little guy has been taking some of the funds from us parents! Anyway, for those wondering about 295/70/17 size tire fitting in at least a Nitto TG (most of us have 285) with a 2" lift...they do. There is 0 rubbing with a 2" lift and fender modification. As usual, I just wanted to post since this tire size is not an easily searchable thread...with good pictures showing the stance. Keep in mind I do have spidertrax wheel "adapters" on...

looks really good, want something similar but I don't want to lift mine. I am not sure if it is my imagination, but it seems to make the stock rims look better.

I know the Terra Grappler run a little on the smaller size that maybe why you aren't getting rubbing. The 285 in the trail grappler is about the same height of 295 terra grappler in the 70x17 spec.

I too would like to see it flexed out and see if you rub. Truck does look good with that meaty tire.

I can't wait to get my Trail Grapplers in 295!

That stance looks great especially with the spacers, the new tires really fill out the wheel wells nicely! Any side shots?

No, but it helps a little with clearance issues of bigger tires, and makes the stance wider...which is preferable for some, like me.

Also...I just added some pics to this thread from a side view, as requested. In terms of rubbing while at full lock with flexing, yes...there is actually slight rubbing, but not a lot...and nothing that can't be fixed

I added some pics...and have a thread with some close up picks of the Rola Rack, but for some reason cant find it?! The feet connect to the factory holes...looks really good...way better than the factory rails/rack IMO.

Yes...I had to trim a little bit, but nothing extreme and you cannot notice at all.

Unfortunately, no...which kind of bothers me. I don't want to run on a small spare...if that time ever comes. Looking into other spare tire holder options...

Negative...it is just a preference for some since it gives a wider stance. But, if you get wider tires, they can rub on the UCA a full lock without spacers or aftermarket wheels.

My spreadsheet was developed for fitment and rubbing, not gearing, mpg efficiency or wear issues.

I hope I am wrong, but did the OP sell this rig? I thought I saw it for sale up in the Richmond area about a month or so ago. Same roof bars, tires, spacers, and lift.
