2nd Gen Question

I'm going to need to replace my steering column on my 93 V6 4Runner. Mainly the intermediate shaft)

Are all the steering columns the same on 2nd Gen's. I'm going to need to source one from a junkyard this weekend.
How hard are they to take out?

It bolts up under the dash, at the fire wall, and 1 bolt where it clamps onto the steering gear. Some are tilt, some aren't, there's 2WD and 4WD, so no they're not all the same. And if it has an airbag, you're in for more.

ahhh dammit! There are quick a few 4Runners in the junkyards here is SoCal so I hope I'll find a Tilt and non-airbag one.

Can you give me some pointers on how I could possibly remove the steering column (mainly the intermediate shaft)?
