I went ahead and did it a couple of years ago on my 94 when I was going to run a full length basket. I think I extended it 26" and added about 5 1/4-20 nutserts. I just sealed the nutsert with silicone sealer when i did the install. 2 years later I have had no leaks. One thing I did do was use a collar around the drill bit so I didn't drill into the headliner

35x12.50x15's
97 FZJ 80 springs + 1" spacer in the back
Worn out 4" trail gear leaf springs up front from my old 81 Toyota Trekker

Glad to help. It only took about an hour or so. It has come in handy hauling 2x4's and ladders .

This is my 1990 4Runner.

I bought it new in 1990, and it's been with me for twenty-eight years now. Like me, it's beginning to show its age, but it still looks good enough for total strangers to approach me to ask if I want to sell it. My answer is always the same.

Manual transmission. Four-inch Trailmaster lift. Stull tube grille. And other stuff. Front skidplate from Northwest Off Road Specialties in Bellingham, Washington.

I'm pretty sure I was a member of this forum before under a different user name...but my computer crashed a couple of months ago, and I lost all my user name/password data except for a list I'd fortunately printed out. Unfortunately, this forum's data wasn't one of the ones saved.

Anyway, enjoy the photos.

What auto adapter are you using? Back in the day i used inchworms with dual marlin 4.7 boxes. It was too much.

Same one but am using dual 2.28's. I had a 4.7 in the rear case in my old truck but didn't use it that much

Negative. I'm in Jacksonville, FL. Good ol' USA.

I'm running 31x10.5" tires on 15x8 Rock Crawler steel wheels. Sorry - can't remember the backspacing on the rims. I've been considering going back to the stock '95 rims, but everytime I walk outside I decide that the black rims just look too good.

I bought it on black friday 2017. I opened up low range off road's website and it was priced at like $275 (something like almost half price) My wife said go for it...When I i originally asked LROR about it a month or so before that they said they would have it for awhile. They had just got bought out by Trail-Gear so it seems T-G had different plans. I just spent a while searching the web trying to find one for a friend of mine, no luck.

If i knew they were going to be this hard to find i would've kept mine when i parted out my rig. I remember when i first bought mine, it was the first batch and it was $750 no joke.

Just got myself a nice stock 1994. Unfortunately, I acquired it out of necessity, but this truck has been growing on me! I'm excited to see what it can do!
