3.0 injector pintle cap question

So here's the deal. I ordered an injector rebuild kit for the 3.0 I am working on and it came with 12 pintle caps. They are pretty much identical but 6 have a smaller hole on the end. All of the caps on the truck were gone or so wasted I couldn't tell which one they were. Any idea which ones I should use?

I could look at my out going 95s if I knew you had something similar so it wasnt a time waster, whacha got ?

ps I thought I was good as eyeballing sizes but thats ridiculous.

but you did succeed in scaring me, now I got to fish out my old ones to make check THEY dont look two sizes

I'm picking up 6 sets of injector O rings and seals today from Napa. They show a cap but the guy said it might be either a protective cover or an aid to install the O ring. Got a picture to share?
I will be in there in the next day or two depending on how long the 9 degree temperature lasts.

Can't get a pic right now but here's the kit he bought. Probably should of went dealership but he's broke. If you read the details it says it comes with 6 of each common type. Toyota 3VZE 3.0 6 CYL Fuel Injector Orings, Pintle Caps, Micro Basket Filters - Fuel Inject. Controls & Parts

just some casual thoughts;

I take it what you are saying is there are TWO DIFFERENCE ORIFICE SIZES the kit, and not that there are two more obvious lengths / etc. that might be diff.

Can you eye ball the difference in between the two diameters ? I think yo uamy be surprised how well a small dia diff could be eyeballed side by side

If not, perhaps you could rig them up as a drain of a fix water volume, and at least get an idea of the relative sizes from the time to empty.

Then ( or if you CAN visualize the diff ) see if you can find one in a salvage yard to compare.

I have some fresh rebuilts of unknown source but I dont have a any pins to check NOR would I recommend some one risk chipping up theirs.

The price on that kit is way lower than NAPA. I got black caps with mine and none of the baskets. Where do the baskets go?
