Does anyone have pictures with this combination? Or maybe a 265/70/17 tire? Or 255/75/17? Thanks. Just trying to decide whether to do the 3/2 or the 2/1.

I have the 2/1 lift with 265/70/17 tires, so if you find a 3/2 with those size tires you can compare them to see which one will better suit you. If you go with the 3/2 I recommend a bigger tire than 265/70/17's though. Otherwise it's similar to a 2/1 lift with stock tires.

What is the biggest lift they make for the 4th gen model? Is it the 3/2? I know they make 5 or 6 inch lifts for the FJ. Isn't the FJ and 4th gen the same chassis? I want to ride on at least 35's or 36's. Is there a lift out there? Or is this a custom fabricated job?

I found a pix of a nice 4th gen 4R (SR5 or LTD, no hood scoop)that was lifted. Looks like 35's (could be 33's though...cant tell). He is at some creek in the mountains. I think he has BFG's A/T tires....kind of tall and skinny the tire. Anyone know the specs on this lift/tire combo?

Let me know,

3/2 is the largest if you are talking about spacer lift kits. You will have to go a different route for a larger lift.

Member AlexJet has a Pro Comp FJC 7" lift kit on his 4Runner. His thread.

Member Good Times has a Total Chaos long travel kit on his 4Runner and he's running 35s. His personal site, chaosedition.com

IMO, those two members and a few others here have some of the best 4Runners out there.

I am looking to get the 2/1 lift as well, just wondering what is the impact on gas milage? Also any problems or ride differences with the XREAS? Pretty much looking for any information good or bad for it or similar products.

If there is a write up on here about them let me know I would like to read it. Thanks

Read through the posts in my 2/1 Cornfed thread, the link is in my signature.

To summarize it very quickly, the gas mileage didn't change at all, but possibly affected it by .1 or .2 MPG. Not enough to be significant. Bigger tires on the other hand will kill 1 MPG easy. The lift made the ride a bit stiffer, but you get used to it in the first day.
