3/2 lifts on 3rd gens

Do 3rd gens need to be lifted more in the front than the rear to get a flat stance like the 4th gens do? Thanx

Even or maybe an inch more in the rear for a level look.

I have Old Man Emu 890s in the rear (2") and 99 Coils (stock) in the front, but I also like a little rake.

No, 3rd gens did not come with a factory rake like the 4th & 5th gens.

I always thought the 3rd gen came with a traditional 1.5" rake from the factory. I always strive to hit close to this when doing suspension mods, so as to best mimic OEM geometry. It's hard to tell looking at original brochures though.

Thank you everyone. I'm just trying to help my buddy figure out a system. He wants travel but dont wanna go all out on coilovers and he wants to get some light-ish bumpers but not right away. I told him to go the LC rout with bilstein 5100s but I'm unfamiliar with TuRD gens.

Well, it's definitely a lot taller than a 3rd gen on stock suspension parked next to each other.... It's an optical illusion because mine is sitting on 34" tires

IMO you want that extra 1" rear lift. 4th and 5th gens cone this way stock and never understood why lift company's never did a real 3/3 for later gens.

That 1" rake stops the sagging look. Levels out when loaded. Offroad it helps clear obstacles. The rear likes to come down hard and that extra rear lift keeps your rear end out of trouble.

Just my opinion.

Front: '99 springs w/ disconnected sway bar and KYB Monomax struts

Rear: Old Man Emu 890 springs with Tokico Black FZJ-80 Shocks and stock bump stops
