305s on stock wheels?

You are going to want to do a bit of trimming and pounding with 305s.
Why do you want to go so wide? I had 305s and honestly was not a fan of it.

Good to know. I like a wider stance that will stick out right at the fender flares but not past them and was thinking 305s would be perfect with the sport fender flares I have. I figured there was a good reason a lot of people do not run them. Looks like I would have to run a 1.5" spacer and possibly a 1" BL to run them even after trimming areas. I may just stick with 285s

If you lift the body up a bit it wont be so bad. I think they would rip those flares off eventually though unless you just drive on the street. I had mine come up into my fenders with no flares and leave a nice crease when I was cruising down some dirt roads camping one year. I currently have 285s and think they are the perfect width, for me at least
