32" BFG M/T installed no lift (pics)

I would get 265/70/17, 285's will not be easy to fit without a lift. Even with a lift you usually need wheel spacers, a lot of trimming of the inner fender and also to take off the mud flaps.

Somewhere in my head 255 became 285, so ignore me. I meant 255.

But 255 which is kind of narrow so I'm back to 265 width. BFGs don't come in 265/65/17.

I am sure it would work but it wont be as tall. My tires are 32.1" tall and the 265/70/R17 would equal out to 31.6" tall.

I just put it on yesterday. First impressions are it is louder than I expected. Truck is getting better mpg, butt dyno tells me its faster on acceleration. I will put up some more info on it after I have had it for about a week. Its pretty damn loud though! Sounds good though i like it thus far.

i just picked up the BFG 255's off of eBay from Discount Tire direct with a promotion that ends today for $371 w/ free shipping! Great deal that I just could not pass up!! I'm contemplating putting them on w/o wheel spacers; does anyone with them have any feedback on this approach or recommend that I wait for spacers/new wheels with appropriate offset? thanks in advance!

Its a deep growl for sure. Its like a purr below 3k RPM but above that its a deep growl.

You got a great deal!! If you put them on without spacers they will not rub, if you put them on with spacers they will rub and you will need to lift the truck to alleviate the rubbing the spacers caused.

You will not need spacers with these tires. I am not sure if you will have a clearance issue without a lift installed. Like I said in an earlier reply, we have them on our 3/2 lift, and we have TONS of room in the wheelwells. We take our Runner off road all the time, and we have never had the tires rub on any part of the supension. Even at full articulation. I would install them as is.

I only have the spacers on for looks, I hate the "Tires sucked in" look.
