35% tint

Haha no, I wasn't angry at all. Just saying that you need to be careful with the term "limo."

The majority of shops I have noticed claim that their "3M" brand performance lines of tint are top of the line, when in reality it's pure crap. That's why i double layered my tint, with the true "top of the line" tint so now my truck is truly limo. (Except for the very back window which is technically "double limo.")

Yeah and I also think tint on limo's has more reflectiveness (word?) than the 3M tint. How much did you get those Nitto's for? A website had them at 155$ I really like the look of them.

It came out to the mid $600's, so I think it was somewhere around $139 per tire plus mount/balance.
 
BIG problem, the 07 black SE got taken off the lot?! I know they sold it when we already talked to them about it. Now the only option is a 08 SE but its Shadow Mica. Any thoughts on that color?
 
Here is mine. It has "Limo" all around including over the factory. Yes its illegal here in Arizona but not many people get stopped for it.

Thanks a lot that looks really good, I am also getting tint, but just 20%. Although your pic is in the shade, i love how the metallic paint jumps off at you in the sunlight. Could you shoot a night shot?

Shadow is a sweet color. It's one of those colors that's hard to describe at the same time too because it's not a traditional color. It will look different under certain lighting conditions. Shadow and black was in the running when I got my 4Runner, along with white, Galactic and Nautica blue.

Im still a little bit sour over the black being gone, but now I get the metallic paint. I'll get used to it over time and plus in snowy colorado it looks sweet:cool:

You will probably be glad you don't have to maintain a black vehicle. I wash mine every 4-5 days, and sometimes use Zaino's spray detailer in between washes if I am feeling extra compulsive. :D

As long as you tint the hell out of it, and lift it, you'll love it. :bigok:

Ya, my Tundra was silver and it always looked clean. I think Ive washed my 4R more in the last month than I did in six with the Tundra.

Once you get them onto your computer, upload them to a site, I recommend www.Photobucket.com

After you upload your pictures there, you can resize them a bit smaller if you choose, and each picture will have 4 links under it. To post pictures, just copy the bottom link, which starts with "" and paste that entire link into your post. After you hit submit post, the link will appear as the picture. :bigok:

Anyways, I bet your excited, I know I was. How old are you by the way?

Haha Im 16 we got it! A 08 Shadow Mica SE for 29k (that includes everything) with 13k miles on it. I think we gotta fair deal. I will post pics ASAP

35% tint front, 20% everywhere else

Heres what 35% on the front with 20% everywhere else looks like with the bright sun behind it. I think it's fine- hard to see in the back unless you walk right up to the glass, no problem at night. It looks much darker in the front than in this photo for some reason it doesn't look very tinted at all ...but the contrast almost looks like I'm legal in the front- I've had way to many strip for tickets and retints before with other trucks- don't even want the headache. I wish I went 20% all around and will when I move out of Kalifornia.

I am getting it tinted, but no lift cause Mom said that it makes it more roll-able:mad: I also have a slight problem. I was going to get a new deck and a 12 in jbl sub in the back. I bought the car and it had the really nice audio in it with the six cd changer. I am for sure going to get the sub, but should i replace the deck? I know it will sound ALOT better with subwoofer control but I just dont know:confused:
