35s on 3rd gen without re gearing?

So my buddy gave me a good deal on some 35" duratracs and im eager to throw them on my 4runner. Right now im on 33s with no rubbing at all. I have 2.5 toytec spacer up front and 3" coils in the rear and a 2" body lift.
Im wondering the chances of it rubbing up front?

Also i am wondering if it could potentially be a bad idea running 35s without regearing to 4.88s. I plan on regearing but i wont have the money for a month or two to do so.

Thoughts?

You're gonna have to do some trimming if you haven't already. This questions has been asked plenty times. I'd suggest doing a little research before you take the plunge to 35's.

I know its been asked many many times im just wondering how driveable itll be for the meantime until i have a new lift setup. Its just a quick decision im having to make since a deal finally came up

You'll have to trim. Other than that it's doable just not ideal.

Are we talking trim to just drive it home or like trim in order to make it drivable at all?

Trim to be able to drive home. Your spacers are what's gonna kill you the most. You wont be able to turn without rubbing unless you trim. You're gonna hate driving with 35's and stock gears, not to mention it makes the motor and trans work harder. Like I said, do some searching and don't just jump into it. It's better to know ahead of time rather than learning the hard way. You already got the tires, they aren't going anywhere....

its drivable but if u wheel it al then its gona rub if u dnt trim I have the toytec coilovers n a 1.5" bl n I havnt trim yet but I still drive around town with little rub wen on slow turns hitin bumbs n

Thats exactly my concern about the UCAs ARKRWLR

Even if its rubbing UCAs do u think i could drive it from Schwab to my house (5 min) to then do some adjusting?

Of course you can. Unless the tire is pressed up against the UCA wayyy too bad and they can't get the front tires on lol. But you should be good. Stock wheels?

only one way to find out I guess.. or search to see if anyone else with your wheels has successfully mounted a 35" tire without hitting the UCA's.

Just FYI, stock wheels with 315/76/16's (35x12.50x16) will not bolt up. Wheel spacers were required on the front. The rear will be fine without spacers but i would recommend spacers on the back as well so your track width increases evenly.

Aside from the spacing, eventhough you have a S/C you are going to feel those 35s. I felt 285s and it's 'ok' but I am growing tired of it. I'm in the process fo regaring to 4.88 and arb as we speak.

Yes, even with SC, 35's make fourth gear useless. I cruised the highway in third gear

Go 5.29's 'cause 4.88's aren't enough with 35's trust me. I had to compromise and get 4.88's because I run a set of 32" studs this time of year and 35's in the summer but if you're only gonna run the 35's then go with the 5.29's.

I've been running 35's with stock gears for like 6 months now and I think it drives fine. I have 3" ome lift and a 2" body lift with trimming of my front fenders I rub very minimally. If you are running stock wheels there is no way you can run 35's without spacers. I have the spidertrax 1.25" spacers up front with stock wheels and I have maybe a 1/4" gap between tire and uca

Whenever I read someone saying something like this, I know instantly that they live at sea level or a flat area.

To the OP: I'd let the tires sit in the garage until you have the money to do gears at the same time. It will drive like crap and cause unnecessary wear and tear. Not a huge deal, but IMO, why bother? Like ARKRWLR said, you've already got your deal on the tires... letting them sit in the garage for a few months isn't going to hurt anything.
