36" Ride Height is 2" lift?

Hi all, I have searched and found many responses on 3" lifts and ride heights, etc but I'm not 100% clear.

Please offer an opinion: One a 2007 SRF V6, is a 36" ride height equal to a 2 inch lift ?

Some comments in posts say that 38" is a 3 inch, other say its a 4" lift so I'm not sure how to gauge where I'm at now (36" front and rear) vs my next plans....

A 2" lift is " higher than the original. stock height, what ever that is (varies from vehicle to vehicle), and same for 3", etc.
If you put a 3" lift on a vehicle with a worn suspension that is sagging 2" (a common 4Runner phenomenon) it will sit 5" higher than before, but only 3" higher than when it was new.
There is no lift to ride height conversion.
For that matter, what's your definition of ride height?

Hey fourwd1, I was measuring from the ground up to the bottom edge of the fender, aligning it straight through the wheel center.

I can't find my original measurements before my other lifts, so was trying to gauge it from others who used a 3 inch lift to see what their measurements were.
