I 2nd that. I actually saw a Scanguage mount the replaces the ashtray and thought....could be extended to snap in/cover the useless little cubby and use for switches, temp gauges, etc.

Not 4Runner specific, but a friend is printing these adapters so I can use easily sourced universal bulb sockets instead of the odd-shaped OEMs for our CRV's tail lights. I'm converting the signal and reverse sections to switchback LEDs so the tails will have dual signals and reverse.
He's printing both versions to see which fits better, whatever I won't use on the CRV will be used on my Tundra to convert the 921 reverse to signal + reverse function

If someone might want something printed, I don't mind seeing what I can do. With enough grandkids to start a baseball team, I get quite a few requests to make stuff. The only problem is my wife said "If one more printer comes in this house..." and I don't know what she said after that. It could have been something I should have payed more attention to 
Which printer is good for beginners is a conversation that can go on for days. I think one of my recommendations is to look at the Elegoo Centauri Carbon (CC). The price point is great for a CoreXY printer that comes with an enclosure and as a huge plus, they just released the system to do multi filament prints (mine is in the mail somewhere...I think)
I have two Elegoo CC printers and they just worked right out of the box and have been churning away with only the basic of maintenance on them.
