Anyone know of anywhere I can purchase new cam shafts for a 98 Four Runner SR5 3.4L v6. Please and thank you.

I have a parts motor that I pull from for stuff. The lower end is toast but I would think the cam is still good. I"m still trying to get the heads off right now. I have to take a torch or something to one of the cam bolts that is a real PITA and after that I should be able to get to the cam and everything else.

I don't think you would want to purchase a new camshaft, the cost would be ridiculous.

Just an FYI there are lots of places that sell refurbished heats for $300-$350 and they come with a warranty. Also, You can buy a complete aftermarket head by JE for $525, imported.

I picked up a engine block for cheap that blow the bottom end out. The upper end was still good for parts and that is were I take parts from or sell if guys need stuff.
