Just Got:
-AVS In-Channel Raingaurds
-Husky Rear Cargo Liner - tan
-Pioneer Headunit
-AAA Road Saftey Kit- Jumper Cables, Tow Rope...

Installed all of these, the headunit was very annoying to install, it took 3 hours. The cargo liner fell into place, window visors were 15-20 minutes to install (i heated the window tracks cause it was cold), and the AAA kit is nice.

Picked up my 4runner on 12/18. She got a tune up, oil change and a clean bill of health from my mechanic first. Then I just ordered a brush guard and clear signal lenses. Next will be tires sometime next week. Still reading through tire threads on here to see what you guys recommend. I'm really enjoying this site and glad to have another 4runner back in my stable! :driving:

I used to run BFG A/T's on my FJ62 and liked them. However after reading up on IH8MUD.com, I put Bridgestone Revo A/T's (285/75/R16) on my FZJ80. They were excellent and IMO better than the BFG's.

On my current T4R, I wanted Bridgestones again but couldn't justify the cost so I went with Toyo Open Country A/T's (265/75-R16) and am very happy with them so far.

The avs guards are nice. Ive had mine for about a year and there great. Mine are now scratched and a couple cracks from the trail but they still serve there purpose. Nothing a little super glue cant fix.

New 2.5" Lift

This past weekend I installed my 2.5 inch suspension lift on the 4runner. Attached are some before and after pictures. Everything went pretty smooth except for a few rusty bolts, a sorry-ass coil spring compressor I rented, breaking a sway bar end link, and busting my lip (wrench broke and the broken part shot up and cut my lip open). But, it was all worth it!

Also did the 1" Diff drop and the deck plate mod. I also replaced the silencer box (or whatever that thing does) with a sraight piece of pipe. A steel can of Hornet and Wasp killer actually fit perfectly, so I cut it to fit, painted it black and put it on! works great!

Just had tint done as well. 30% on the fronts to match the back, looks great!

But of course nothing good ever happens without something stupid and shitty.

This is my fender where it meets the driver's door:

So the money from selling my old wheels will have to fix this instead.

I think the wife bought me a Uniden Pro520 xl. Now I need to figure out which antenna to get and where to put it.

I got the same thing, I am thinking about a 3' Firestik.

i got a gift cert. for tint, and went and had the fronts done with 5 and am goin back next week to do the rest with 5. and hopefully ill be getting some new shocks soon.

Wet Okole Seat Covers!

My wife hooked me up with a set of front seat covers from Wet Okole. These covers are very nice! Comfortable and the fit is perfect. i'll try to get some pictures once the weather is not crap.
