3rd gen Cop Car

Saw this when i was at Venice Beach, thought it was kinda cool since ive not seen anything like it before.

The local police chief has a DCLB 2nd gen Toyota Tacoma... pretty!

Wow I've never seen a department go with a non-American company for vehicles. I bet those bucket seats suck with a gun belt on.

I say put some bigger rubber and a lift, then it's LEGIT! Gonna say that this thing must be a beach patrol truck.... pretty sure it would suck as a pursuit vehicle on the HWY! lol!

Just yesterday I saw a yellow 3rd gen done up like a baywatch vehicle with a light bar. I was driving, so I couldn't take a picture.

I bet it's a re-purposed drug seizure truck, cuz you're right about most cop cars being American made. I know the Sheriff Dept. where I live has a lifted Suzuki Samurai they they got from a drug bust and they made it into one of their search & rescue vehicles. It's actually pretty cool.

Like I said, local police chief's duty vehicle is a 2nd gen Tacoma, Double Cab, Long Bed.

A fire department the the area has a 1st gen Hummer. Bought it outright, I believe.
