3rd Gen Cracked Dash

Sigh...I am suffering from a cracked dash in my 2000 Limited.
I use protecting spray all the time and use windshield visor faithfully.
I am not sure why the hell my dash still wants to crack.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?
If so how do you fix it without having to go to the stealership?
Yeah junkyard, in my area there are NO 4runners!

It suckes that your limited has the dash seprating like that. It is really not cracking but it is pulling apart. Not cheap to fix nor easy. Replacement is the only rel fix.

Get you one of those gay dash covers.

Ambush, hate to say it but I think the visor did this actually. You have to almost wedge the visor in between the glass and the dash, otherwise it reflects the sun (and heat) into a more concentrated area and this is what happens.

Since it didn't crack though, a good upholstery shop should be able to fix it. Not cheap though, dash in and out is complicated which makes it expensive unfortunately.
