That should take care of one the things I wanted to do. I want to be able to turn of the DRL as well. BTW I have a 2000 so I believe things are slightly different.

yea 2000-02 i guess you have to ground some additional thing, but since I have a 99 it didn't apply to me so I cant be much of a help there.

Yeah that doesn't work with an 02. Anyone know where to ground for it to work on an 02. I did the simple mod MTD shows.

I know that for an 00-02 that its the simple mod in addition to grounding something

Just did it for my 02. Follow MTDs pictures then under the steering wheel find the Green and Black wire running to the DRL relay and ground it. works great.

although now if I forget to turn off my fog lights im screwed! I may reverse this mod. I like the lights cutting off when left on when I open my door.
