3rd Gen seat removal

Im about to to remove my seats and use a Rug Doctor to really clean the carpet. Anything special to remove these seats other then the 4 bolts I believe there is.

Nope nothing special, just 4 14 mm bolts.

Tip the seat forward to disconnect electrical plugs. I guess that was obvious. I would love to see some dramatic before/after photos.

Just be careful. The nuts are tack welded on and if they break loose it's a pain getting them out and then a pain getting them bolted up again afterwards. Hit them with PB Blaster and a few sharp taps with a hammer to reduce the chances of this happening. I had two of eight break loose when I did my carpet.

yeah i broke one loose, I welded it on to a plate then welded the plate back onto the bump where it was mounted to.

check my build thread, i power washed mine then scrubbed with purple power at walmart then power washed it again, came out looking brand new.
