lol, thankx man. I agree with you on the LEDs but i dont think he will wheel his 4runner, and thats cool, not every has to be the same, i hope i didnt come as being a weenie. Im into 4wheeling, thats why I bought a 4x4, but my brother is into low riders, with all the bling, I will help anyone mod their truck, even if i dont like what they are installing, im helping.. ("its not about the vechile, its about the driver")
i have seen guys use them LEDs for rock rock lights, they say they work well.

yeah i cant help but comment angrily about things sometimes, but in the end i really dont care what anyone does with THEIR truck.

that said yours is sweet but ive seen it a million times in sweet pics over at YT, so im sure ive said that before. hahah.

broncosi, you must not wheel your rig, neon on a 4x4 :wtf: if i ever do that, will you people just :cannon: me ? but in all fairness, the way i look at it, "its your rig, your money, do what YOU want" i would never put neon on a 4x4, i wheel mine, i bet at night, the kids would love it, looking like a UFO coming down the street

yea i already did the off roading in my 4runner and with all the mud and all, it cant be healthy for my 4runner. For most kids around here it was a high school phase. I however dont plan on seeing anymore mud as im about to swap my BFGs for some 22's here sometime. My 4runner is all i have to drive. It gets me from point A(home) to point B(work) and after i make enough money i will buy a rig to wheel just not my DD. I cant risk that especially with mine running close to 200,000 miles on it.

I dont feel bad for my runner, in its younger days it wheeled hard and had a great life and now that its coming down(still running great) I want to take another turn with it towards luxury since ive already done the off road

finally got done with the "satoshi mod" . it takes some time to do with all the paint and all. it is so bad a$$ lookin!!! crapy picture...was taking at night will get a few more up tomorrow

hey, how much did that satoshi mod cost you? after seeing that, im going to do it...

40 for the grill... (must be a 96-98 grill)
30 for the logo..came off an old fj from the 60's
7 bucks foor the "grill guard" which is actually lath material used for plastering. (comes in a HUGE sheet from home depot
2 bucks for misc nute/bolts
10 bucks paint
3 epoxy
3 sand paper

just over about a 100 bucks. i have a drimel tool and that makes it alot easier to prep imo.

This is funny... for a Toyota at least. It's like saying that you're old at 40. For a Toyota, 200,000 miles is not even half over... hasn't even hit (over the hill) yet. Wait a few more years, then you can throw it an over the hill b-day after about another 50k miles.

i dont know i hear 4runners start to give out around 280,000 or so and their life expectancy is around 300,000. Just leave it at that because i plan on getting an 02' when this one dies.

Stumbled across the site doing some 4runner searching, and found some good info here, so I decided to sign up.

I just picked up a 2002 Sport Edition 4wd and have been trying to read up on it as much as I can, since I'll be doing most, if not all mods myself.

I'm standing on a small hill in this pic, I'm not really 12' tall...

Here's a few pics of my 2002 4Runner LTD. Picked this up stock last September and had to start modding it out!

I'm new to the 4Runner game but I've had my '90 pickup for 10 years now and I needed a daily driver.

After owning one, I can't help but notice differences in each one. Some with running boards, wheel well molding, lift, etc. makes each one, well SPECIAL.

Now if we are talking Camry's or Accords, there all the same, end of story.
