3rd Gen T4R Picture Gallery

Fairly new to the T4R world. Picked this up in September-ish..2000 SR5, had 208,xxx on the clock when in bought it. Sitting close to 215,000 now. Just did LBJ's, outer tie rods, Tundra 5100's all around, Toytec/Eibach 3" lift springs up front (2nd perch), and Toytec Superflex rear springs. Wheels are Black Rock 997 Type 8 - 16x10 -38..wrapped in 305/70/16 Toyo Open Country MT's. Just sent an order in to MStudt for some sway bar links, and I'm about to put in a few more orders for standard maintenance bits.

I did not..still running the same stock gear set. May mess with them in the future a little..just trying to focus on maintenance stuff now to make sure this thing hits 500k one day lol.

Regearing for 33s is maintenance. You trans won't make it 500k with that setup

Good inspiration in this thread! Probably went through 200 pages of it...

This thing has been running 33's for the last 7 years without issue, as most 3rd Gen's tend to run. Anything higher than that, regearing is pretty much a necessity. Keeping up with active fluid maintenance will make sure the stock trans and gears will do just fine for many miles to come.

Oh and not driving like an idiot..that's a major step in the right direction.

I've been through too many bad experiences seeing what larger diameter tires do to a vehicles mechanical longevity.
It's good yours has lasted
