I owned a 3rd gen a long time ago and am looking to get one again to have some fun with. I came across this one last night and was hopeful you all could help me out. Is the front bumper stock? The color/finish looks different than others I've seen on 2001 SR5s. Maybe it's a different trim and I just am not familiar enough with the various stock options.... any help/guidance is appreciated.

The flares are from 1996-1999 SR5s

Those wheels came on base models from 1996-2002, 4wd SR5 models 96-00, 2wd SR5 models from 96-02, and Limiteds from 96-98

Bumper is from 1999-2002

Those are some nice looking wheels. They kind of look like the konig countersteer X, but with a deeper dish. They don't make that wheel in a simple polished aluminum finish to my knowledge, though. Who makes the wheels that you're running?

New owner of a 98' Toyota 4Runner

Just purchased a 98' 4Runner with 167k miles on it yesterday. It's a very clean truck with normal rust for the year. I did noticed it was shaking on the highway going home at about 50+ mph. Not sure what it can be but i'm taking it in to get looked over and get it ready for the winter. Does not look like the timing belt has ever been replaced either so i'll have to have it checked out. I'm worried about it getting stolen, is it possible to install an alarm system on something this old? My previous car was a 2004 Nissan 350z so it'll take me a minute to adjust but i'm already in love with it and hope it'll will last me a very long time.

They are konig From FN wheels, I believe they just got them and didnt list them on there site, you would have to call and order direct

Last week I went down to the Lost Coast of California to meet up with my friend and get some abalone. Needed more time to explore. I'll write it up in my build thread sometime but I'm preparing for next weekend when I have another trip planned!!

New to me 2000 4Runner SR5 4x4. Plan on keeping it stock for now!

2000 T4R daily driver

All, this is my recently acquired 2000 SR5 4WD. Lightly modded with a 3" lift via Bilstein 5100 adjustable and OME springs in the front, and 5100's and OME springs in the rear. 15" ATX AX201 rims and Michelin ATX tires all around. Not much else done to her than that. 164,000 miles and running strong. I do have a question for the members, I have been looking for someone who makes a nice 2 or 3" predator style tube step/slider and have been stumped. N-Fab and Smitty Built don't, or at least they don't list it. I see a few on here in pictures, anyone care to share what manufacturer makes one to fit our 3rd Gens? Or are these all custom?

I should mention I have changed the wheels to the new ATX's since I took this pic, I wasn't a big fan of the MB's pictured here.
