Well, my interior is not pristine, nor am I trying to keep it that way. I have a RAM mount ball that I bolted through the dash panel below the airbag. It vibrates some, although not as bad as I first thought. I have seen others have used a Panavise mount that uses the head unit screws, that's probably a little more elegant.

They're just some crappy chinesium system I found on eBay. There's an interface attached to the head unit that receives the signals. I have a Car Joying (more cheap chinesium) Android head unit that it ties into. They work OK, but is somewhat limited. No idea how well they would work with a real head unit. Has taken a while to get used to where they sit on the wheel.
