3rd gen with 33 x 12.5

So i was originally gonna get myself some 35s but my friend is selling 33 x 12.5s for like 300 bucks brand new BFG A/T. Its a great deal, but i don't know because I was looking for something in the 35s range. How well will the 33s fit on a stock 3 spoke 15" wheel and I was wondering if I could see some at stock height. Thanks for the pictures guys in advance.

the biggest tires u can fit on a stock runner with stock double 3 spoke is 265/75/16 which is like a 32x 10.5

impossible to fit 33s with stock height... and even with a lift u will still need to buy spacers for your stock wheels cuz the 12.5 wont clear the A arm upper

My 32 x 10.5's rub my fender flair/mud flap right in front of my running board. I would stay away from 33's unless you get a 3 inch lift and a wheel with a 1 inch offset. or better yet, do a long travel set up :thumb3:

You're gonna rub like crazy with 33x12.50s and no lift. Like they said, you'll have to get wheels with less backspacing (or spacers) to clear your UCAs. Even with 3-4" of lift, 12.5" wide tires will rub the firewall off road. 35s take a lot of cutting and welding on the firewall/fenders even with 4-5" of combined susp. and body lift to not rub a lot off road. You can make anything work, but how much are you willing to put into it? Is this for show or function?

Im running 265/75/16 BFG A/T`s i do not rub at all, but they are not 10.50`s....i wish though, but im 90% sure they will rub bc i have about the width of my index finger of room when im in mid turn (1 full 360 turn of the wheel)

i ran 285/75's on stock wheels with no upper a arm rubbing so you dont HAVE to get wheel
spacers. there wasnt much room at all but they fit. you will of course need some sort of lift kit

285/75s are 11" wide, but the tires he's talking about are 12.5" wide. They will rub on the UCAs 100% sure.

closer to 11.5" but wouldnt think with such a narrow rim it would make that much difference but i stand corrected

Yeah, I ran 305s (12" wide) for a while a couple years ago and they rubbed horribly. Even when I got wheel spacers, that cured the rubbing on the UCA, but they still rubbed bad enough on the firewall, frame and bumper to ditch them for good. Unless you want to learn the hard way, stick to an 11-11.5" wide tire.

yeah my 33 12.5 touch they running board part, when i got it no loft couldnt turn more than half a turn and was popping plastic pieces off. took 10 min and a 10 pt turn to get out of the lot
there is a pic of rear stock and and other of it lifted but thats about what it will be on front or maybe a lil less clearance
and not sure if it helps but i bought the rims for the tires and truck and they are -16mm offset from the center of the rim

yeah im not either but i got them for mud mainly. got mine for $200 all 4 and it has cost about $300 for them to work and im getting a 2" BL. they are nice but can be a pain.

$300 for 4 brand new tires? Buy them and do the mods to make them fit. You won't find them for 2x that much later.

hey wats up guys. for whoever runs a 3in lift with 33's and regeared to 4.56 or 4.88... what is your guys gas mileage? lmk if you guys have intake and exhaust too thanks! i want to know cuz i was thinking on changing my spacer to maybe a 3in ome lift with 33's.
