The RC rollover looked like a nice 4runner.... why didn't they use a junk 4runner... geez..

Anyone know what "modifications" would be done to prevent the rollover in the 2nd video ? Anti sway bars ?

Every SUV was bad about this at one point. The 2nd gen was really, really bad about wanting to roll over. The Jeep wrangers were really awful as well. Every generation started getting lower to the ground, and wider. The 4th gen is a much more squat vehicle than previous generations to help control the roll over.

These older model's also had horrible side impact protection as well. It almost makes sense in an accident to hit head on, rather than try to swerve and risk rolling or impact at the side. Even 1st gen runners had a minimum safety cage built into the front. By the 3rd gen, the crumple zone is much stronger than the side impact zone.

Heres some rollover tests.

Careful with those highway evasive maneuvers! Especially the lifted crowd.

That looks very familiar. That's almost exactly what happened in my rollover only I didn't do the roll at the end. Ended up back on the tires pointed in the direction I was coming from. Rollover was exacerbated by coming off of ice back onto dry pavement.
