Is the 4.0 a Aluminun Block or Cast Iron?

Actually, this is a change for Toyota as it is the first aluminum truck engine. I read this is the first of a line of aluminum engines for Toyota. I would think Toyota would put this engine as the base engine for the Tundra in 2005 instead of the old 3.4 V6, which I assume no one orders. Hey, it may even show up on the Tacos.jharris2 said:
