So I have read a LOT of literature on wheels and backspacing from this forum, expanding my knowledge and understanding :thanks: but this is more of a practical question.
Aside from looks (though I'm not sure how noticeable that would even be), do I need to be concerned with rubbing on the suspension with 5" of backspacing (0 offset) over 4.5" of backspacing (-12mm offset) when running 275/65/18 DuraTracs? I have read and seen a majority of people run -12mm offset and not necessarily as many running 0 (though I think that's how FN BFDs come IIRC). Just seeing how much of an effect (if any) this would make on my narrowing down of wheel choices. And appreciate all the info put forth on this forum, I've learned a lot about both modding and what do I actually plan on doing with my truck to ensure that all of my future earnings are put in proper direction :lol:
