4.7L small amount of oil in threaded hole on valve cover?

Just noticed a small amount of oil in this threaded hole on the valve cover on the drivers side of my 4.7L 4runner. Also noticed the plug boot is a little darker adjacent to it. My question is if that's leaking from the bottom of the valve or if I accidentally spilled oil on it from my last oil change?

Probably spilled oil. You can always clean it and find a small bolt that threads in to plug the hole and see if it comes back.
